DAcademy Project Jackaroo

he's the first part of my project for DAcademy, hope you'll like him

Backstory:
Jackaroo was born in a big city near the County of Theuz, on "Pandemonium"; . It's one big continent in the middle of an endless ocean. He was a nice kid, but his tallness and quiet behavior made him more like a tool for the other kids than a friend. He didn’t care though, being in a crowd could make him happy too. Until one day, the son of the County-major came around, and demanded everyone to obey his will and give everything he wants. (Basically, that brat was just a greedy pig...) Jack denied this, and as a result, the little squirt made his father to sentence him for Scarecrow-enprisonment. This meant that Jackaroo’s been tore into 3 pieces, like everyone else with this punishment: The Body, The Soul, and The Mind. Scarecrows in this country are made for souls as a "prison" to help out whoever they’re told to with community services :gardening, repair works etc. They also get an overseer-hat, like Mr.Scroutt (seen above). Jack’s been sent to the Dawnsie-yard, where he met his later mentor, Mrs. Dawnsie. After 7 years, Mrs. Dawnsie’s granddaughter, Diana came along, becouse her parents went on an expedition and she had to stay here. They became great friends, Jack almost looked down at her as his little sister. Then one stormy day, when the heavy wind and rain caught them in the forest during picnic, a lightning stroke down and crashed down an enormous pinetree. It was almost unavoidable for Diana to dodge the falling and burning tree, But Jack jumped in and pushed her away, so the tree hit him instead. This sacrifice cost his wooden structure critical damage: He got broken into pieces and burnt. But such good deed could not have been lost, so Mr. Scrout reported in to the “Warden” that this guy just saved a little girl’s life. As a result, the “Warden” turned the remains of Jackaroo into human, and gave him abilities, to continue these acts around the world. 2 powers, that could help him, and one that he feared the most. “...Flexibility, to reach out for the weak and save them. Velocity to be at the right place at the right time. And the Control of Fire, to destroy whoever tries to do the same to your most beloved ones...” Nowdays, he spends his time in search of a group, who he could join to be a “guardian”. He had several journeys, and he’s about time to reach this goal...


Personality:
Jackaroo (or Jack for short) is a perfect example for the known title of “The Gentle Giant”. He’s kind and helpful, and tries to make himself as useful as it’s possible. He enjoys carrying crates and bags for those in need, loves delivering packages and letters, and generally tries to be the hero of the day. The only obstacle to achieve this goal is only himself. Being this tall and having such long arms and legs, Jack still needs to gather up experience to use them safely (right now he’s quiet clumsy and hasty... but he really REALLY tries to help. It’s just..bad luck and such...) He loves to play with children, for example he takes happily the role of the “city-destroyer-monster” and lets them defeat him just to see them laugh and smile.
Jack is not stupid or mentally ill. He’s just...simple. He’s not known for his rational decisions, it’s like he’s ALWAYS thinking outside the box. Usually he makes a simple task utterly complicated, and/or very difficult. He cannot hide his expressions, what he feels is written on his face. It’s hard to make him angry or sad though, since he’s basically optimistic. Very optimistic. However if he’s under stress, he usually overreacts anything and falls into panic. His biggest weakspot is that Jack is reeeeeeeeally naive. He trusts almost anyone he meets , even if the mentioned person is a 200 kg raw muscle’d bandit with a club on his shoulders.
